Flow yoga is a style of yoga that links movement to breath in fluid sequences. A dance like meditative style of yoga that promotes a healthy balance of strength, stretch and relaxation.
This beginners course is the perfect way to start your yoga practice in a relaxed, supportive, small class setting. The course will give you a strong foundation of knowledge and experience so that you feel confident attending mixed level yoga classes or build a home practice.
What you will learn during the course:
- Introduction to the history of yoga and the different styles of yoga.
- Introduction to common postures and poses that are included in a flow class.
- Learn and understand the correct alignment of the postures.
- Learn about common injuries that may occur if the postures are not done in the correct alignment.
- Breathing techniques to calm & focus
- How to modify your practice to suit you as an individual.
Location: Trevone Village Hall
Dates: Monday 29th September - Monday 20th October
PRICE: £44 to be paid in advance.
EQUIPMENT: All equipment is provided but please bring your own mat if you have one.
WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch and move in.
